Aïda Lorrain is interested in the forms and social relations that can be articulated around such vital issues as the production of energy, the use of technology and the place of human beings in ecology. Scientific fictions, some of her pieces speculate on the uses and behaviors of a fantasized future, the parameters of which are defined by unusual hypotheses. She uses her body, language, natural elements, found and recycled pieces and surrounding architecture as materials for her work. Through her work, she seeks particular connections with plants, animals and inanimate beings.
