Through her ceramicist’s pratice, Alice Zerini-Le Reste is interested by the notions of balance and precariousness that connect the body, the object and the space that surrounds it. Linear and massive, several forms stack up to form a structure, between construction and deconstruction. Conceive with the accidental, her work brings ceramics to another level of fragility where the object could fall and break at any moment. Living with all their vulnerabilities, the pieces are lifted, the emptiness travels, pulling them out of their heaviness. It is then the beginning of the game, the game of forms in space. The human and the object mingle with the abstract and the absurd, a dangerous, grotesque and delicate furniture.
