"Emotions are what drives my art, doubt, discomfort, the feeling of adjusting to something new. Change that pushes us out of our comfort zone is important: each moment of change allows us to get closer to who we really are. Amidst all of that change, the human factor stays; we crave intimacy above all else, with ourselves as much as with others. Connection will always remain. I get inspired from my roots in Haïti and from the diverse art world around me. Through my pieces, I explore identity, intimacy, and the acceptance of the unknown.”
