Constatinos Giannoussis’s work aims to reveal and acknowledge desires that are conflicting and therefore hard to attain. It focuses on the relationships of traditions and progress, homosexuality and the orthodox culture, comfort and excitement, and empathy and narcissism. It aims to alternatively experience genuine desires through representations where they can be rehearsed and further acknowledged, by creating spaces that oscillate between reality and artificiality.
