The outcome of my multidisciplinary practice, through my personal experience of migrating to a foreign nation, speaks to larger themes of migration, belongingness and memory. My visuals are revolving around mental and physical proximity. It tries to establish a sense of closeness despite physical distance and therefore points towards the afterlife of an image as a memory. Narratives infiltrate my work through my immediate surroundings and in this investigation of in-between spaces. My practice touches upon the topics of the formation of home and investigates how to find form for a sense of longing. Echoing the intangible experience of residing in a place is at the core of my practice.
