Self-taught painter Igor Moritz focuses on the valuable moments of silence that come into existence during conversations and, occasionally, even with one self. The ambiguous nature of these pauses flood the paintings with anticipation. In order to create this visual tension, Igor uses colour combinations, morphs space and distorts the emotionally packed human figures.
