Rad Hourani: Non-Gendered Sets for Noguchi were a dynamic addition to the Museum’s collection installation, served to enliven the Contract and Release performance series, named after Martha Graham’s technique. Executed by dancers following patterns established by Brendan Fernandes and accompanied by a score co-created with Amanda Jane Graham.

Invention « Gender Neutral Patterns + Unisex Size Systems »
Between 2005 and 2007, Rad Hourani invented the first non-gendered patterns for entirely unisex garments, redefining the norms of contemporary fashion. This revolutionary invention aims to open up a dialogue on non-binarity via costume, establishing a new basis for gender equality in attire through art.
